My extended family is known for people who work in the trades.
My Grandma was a chef and got most of her education at a trade university in our city.
For generations our family has lived in this same postal code and we’ve seen at least more than five people finish programs at that same university, then my uncle decided to be an electrician after he tried becoming an auto mechanic and understood he wasn’t superb at it. He did all of the electrical wiring in the varying homes that our folks built over the years once they had the cash to do so. Now our uncle works in home development laying fiber optic lines for networks and security systems, so he doesn’t even handle residential electrical wiring anymore. My dad is also a tradesman, although he chose the advanced heating and cooling industry instead. They both attended the same trade university within a couple years of 1 another, however they didn’t have the same interests beyond wanting to labor in the trades generally speaking. My dad is glad to be a Heating, Ventilation and advanced A/C professional because it provided him a sense of task security that he said was not good at the other tasks he worked while every one of us were in this time. I can benefit from not needing a heating and cooling company to repair our a/c and heating system, as I have our dad to help with that instead. He gives me legitimate and frank advice, and I don’t have to care about him trying to make a sale with me. I enjoy various of the Heating, Ventilation and advanced A/C companies that I have dealt with in the past, however it’s still within their best interest to make some needed cash off our mutual arrangements. That’s how a supplier survives, so I can’t fault them for it.
