Holiday candles plus Heating, Ventilation and A/C air filters

If it’s the week before Thanksgiving, I’m always shopping for something particular.

Most people are waiting to shop on the Sunday after Thanksgiving.

But I’m there a few afternoons early in order to get a case of Heating, Ventilation and A/C air filters that are a bit on the cheaper end. Normally, both of us use HEPA filters for the Heating, Ventilation and A/C equipment. The HEPA filters are designed with our overall, immune plus respiratory health in mind. The cheap air filters are just to protect the Heating, Ventilation and A/C equipment. They easily aren’t designed to do anything however keep the stuff out of the Heating, Ventilation and A/C device that might affect the heating plus cooling process. But once a year, I switch to the cheap air filters for 6 weeks or so. I make this sacrifice of better indoor air quality to help protect that Heating, Ventilation and A/C device I just mentioned. That stuff isn’t cheap plus just like anything else, I try to take care of the stuff that takes care of me. So the reason I get the cheaper air filters is due to the fact that my partner loves to burn holiday candles. And I mean, she easily loves to burn candles around the holidays. She must have like 40 of 50 of them going any a single night plus I lost count once it gets to Christmas week. However, all that burning candle wax gets sucked right to the Heating, Ventilation and A/C return. And that means the air filter gets nearly sealed shut with burnt wax. Those HEPA filters aren’t cheap. So I get the cheap air filters as I’m changing the air filter like every 6 or 7 afternoons due to all the holiday candles.
