The water aerobics classes at my gym helped me to heal my back

A few years ago, I hurt my back while lifting a heavy box.

I had a herniated disc, and it was one of the most excruciating pains that I felt in my life.

I had to go to a chiropractor who came up with a plan for treatment. After a few weeks, my back felt somewhat normal again. When I hurt my back, I was bummed that I couldn’t go to the gym. And to make matters worse, my chiropractor warned me about doing any intense workout. This meant that I could not continue with my regular workout at the gym. In addition, I wasn’t allowed to lift anything heavier than 25 pounds. My back remained sensitive for a while, so I followed my chiropractor’s recommendations and I was very careful with my daily activities. Well, after a while, I wanted to get back in the gym after being absent for a few months. I wanted to go back and start with light workouts. I began swimming because that was recommended by my chiropractor as a way to stretch and strengthen my spine. Well, when I went swimming at the gym, I discovered that my gym offered water aerobics classes. I observed the sessions and thought I could handle the workout. When I asked my chiropractor, he approved of me taking the classes. I took water aerobics at the gym for an entire year, and I am happy to say that I have not hurt my back since then and I have made a full recovery.
