It must be in the triple digits today with the humidity and I am so gleeful for our central Heating and Air Conditioning appliance that I could give it a huge hug.
I believe it isn’t straight-forward to hug the Heating and Air Conditioning appliance although I could keep it washed and running well instead of a hug. I am easily swapping out the filter every multiple months just like they said and getting it worked on regularly. I have a washable HEPA filter, absolutely multiple of them, and wash it every multiple weeks by rinsing it with soap and water to remove all of the dust and debris. I put the air filter out in the daylight on our front balcony for a few hours to let it dry in the sun heated air. I used to try and dry them by hand with a towel and put them back in the air handler of the Heating and Air Conditioning appliance although I could never get all of the water from the filter. The daylight does much better with drying the filter, and does so without chafing the plastic screen of the filter like rubbing it with a towel does. I never asked the Heating and Air Conditioning appliance rep how to wash it although I suppose washing it with soap and water and letting it dry in the daylight is a nice idea which will allow it to last a long time. Possibly next month I will go to the Heating and Air Conditioning appliance supplier who installed our appliance to ask them how to wash the filter so that it lasts a fairly long while. They most definitely know it all.
