I get a lot of amazing products at local superstores.
There are two different companies that have similar sized stores and they’re fierce competitors.
Getting better prices on unique food items and other essentials is what customers seek to gain from such competition. One day you might find insane savings at one of the two stores on a particular day and then a better sale the following day at their competitor’s location. And if you shop by looking at the online sales papers first, you’ll have an idea of what’s available at the store before you even leave your house. With the advent of curbside pickup at both companies, I don’t even need to go into the store if I make an online order ahead of time and text them when I arrive. However, despite both stores featuring clearance aisles with rotating products, one of them has much better options than the other. How can you beat a quart of exterior paint for only $3? At least I could find deals like that before inflation got stupid. The best deal I ever got from the superstore clearance aisles is my current space heater. It retails for $60 and I scored it for only $25 because I got it in July when it was taking up shelf space from air conditioners and dehumidifiers. Since it has quartz radiant heating coils, it actually feels stronger than my central furnace. I have an extremely inefficient fan forced electric furnace and it loses energy because it moves around cold ductwork before the heat actually reaches me. The space heater can be put in any room and warms not just the surrounding air but also the objects within the room as well, allowing it to retain that heat.
