When our partner walked out on me, I had to figure out how to take care of the condo on our own; easily one of the biggest chores I had to do was take the window A/C units out of the windows before winter… Yet, however I wasn’t a little woman, I wasn’t particularly strong. I had never had to detach the window A/C units or put them in. I considered taking some weightlifting classes, but I wasn’t ambitious either. I spent the better area of an hour huffing in addition to puffing while trying to get the AC device out of the dining room window. I finally had a slender hold on the AC unit, in addition to I pulled it forward, but it wanted to rock backward. I panicked as our mind conjured up a picture of the A/C sliding backward in addition to landing on the hard ground beneath the window. It was a slow motion vignette that I didn’t want to happen. I pushed the window down in addition to leaving the AC device in the window. I knew that before Summer began again; I was going to have central A/C installed, because I didn’t want to go through this again. In the meantime, I called the local beach house center in addition to asking if they had a cover I could place over the AC units, they had the next sizable thing, in addition to it was called shrink wrap. I knew that by next summer, I could find someone to help detach the window AC units. Of course, if the shrink wrap worked in addition to what the clerk said it would, maybe I would not need to purchase a central AC unit.
