The basement steps in our beach house are treacherous! There isn’t a step that is the same width or distance apart. Two steps are only six inches deep plus others are almost a foot deep. They made the steps of stone, plus they can get slippery when it is humid in the house, however when the heating, ventilation, plus A/C business showed up to check out our oil furnace; I then cautioned him to watch his step, plus he told me he would be fine. The stairway lighting wasn’t the best, plus I told him to use his flashlight; then half an hour later, I was lying next to him on the steps as both of us waited for an ambulance… But I didn’t believe he had broken any bones, although he was complaining about his neck plus his ankle was swelling. I called the heating, ventilation, A/C corporation, plus the owner was at my home before the ambulance. I explained I had cautioned him about the steps plus told him to use his flashlight, although he ignored me. I heard the owner of the heating, ventilation, and A/C company questioning his business plus the guy admitted I had told him about the steps, and every one of us had a railing, although he didn’t believe he needed to use it. The heating, ventilation, plus A/C company owner stuck around after the ambulance left plus took down some information. He apologized for the incident and finally said he would have another heating, ventilation, plus A/C business there by the end of the day. I hoped he would tell me how the business was doing, but I was afraid to ask, until he said not to worry about being sued. It wasn’t really the first time the tech had played a macho man in front of a pretty man.
