The basement steps in our home are treacherous, however there isn’t a step that is the same width or distance apart.
Two steps are only six inches deep plus others are almost a foot deep.
They definitely made the steps of stone, plus they can get slippery when it is humid in the house! When the heating, ventilation and A/C specialist showed up to check out our furnace, I cautioned him to watch his step, plus he told me he would be fine. The stairway lighting wasn’t particularly the best, plus I told him to use his flashlight, and half an hour later, I was sitting next to him on the steps as we waited for an ambulance. I also didn’t assume he had broken any bones, although he was complaining about his neck plus his ankle was swelling. I quickly called the heating, ventilation and A/C dealer, plus the owner was at my lake house before the ambulance. I explained I had cautioned him about the steps plus told him to use his flashlight, although he ignored me. I then heard the owner of the heating, ventilation and A/C company questioning his specialist plus the guy admitted I had told him about the steps… Every one of us had a railing, although he didn’t assume he needed to use it. The heating, ventilation and A/C company owner stuck around after the ambulance left plus took down some information. He carefully apologized for the incident plus said he would have another heating, ventilation and A/C specialist there by the end of the day. I hoped he would tell me how the specialist was doing, although I was afraid to ask, until he said not to worry about being sued. It wasn’t the first time the tech had played a macho person in front of a pretty woman.
