If you had told me 20 years ago that online marketing would be the way of the future, I would have laughed. I am not a person of change, and because of that I believed that the way people advertised at the time would stay that way. However, I should have known that I could not continue this way, and over time, I saw the amount of customers I got each year decrease. My A/C company was losing money, and I had to do something. My son, who was very tech savvy, recommended trying digital marketing. That was the last thing I wanted to hear, but I didn’t want to see my business go down any further either. My son helped me save money by not going with a marketing company. My son already had knowledge of things like SEO, SEM and PPC. He first taught me about PPC, pay per click, and how using ads like this could benefit me. Then it was SEO, search engine optimization, and using keywords to attract more traffic to my website. Before long, I was getting more calls from customers than I had in years! I was amazed at what digital marketing could do.
