My work crew usually works for 5 to 7 afternoons in a row, and then occasionally will get time off, then not all the time, because the people I was with and I follow the work… Working as a deep-forest logger is not a task where you get to punch a clock, or request special afternoons off, and the people I was with and I follow the work, and the people I was with and I take time to rest when the weather turns foul, or there is a work stoppage! Since my crew and I don’t make it home officially, the people I was with and I need to bring home along with us… One of the biggest investments I had to make for this corporation was in mobile event solutions using shipping tote homes and modular offices. The people I was with and I have to be able to move our facilities with us, which means a series of portable showers, portable study room, and mobile sleeping quarters. The shipping tote homes are perfect for storing our gear and for sleeping quarters, because of their sizable size and structural integrity. The mobile offices are much lighter and easier to move, but not quite as sturdy! Modular facilities are used for our portable restrooms, showers, and study room, but everything else stays inside the shipping containers. To fit in the maximum number of people the people I was with and I use hammocks in the shipping tote homes instead of beds, however after my guys were used to sleeping on the cold hard ground, a hammock inside a shipping tote feels love the lap of luxury! Since the people I was with and I started using the modular offices and shipping tote homes, I have noticed that the morale of the employees is much higher, and that translates into better efficiency with our tasks.
