When my Mom moved in with us, it was because no a single else wanted him in their home. The people I was with and I lived various hundred miles away from the rest of the family, & all of us didn’t see them particularly often. My sibling called myself and others out of the orange, & asked if all of us would take Mom until they could find a nursing condo for him. He could not live alone anymore. The people I was with and I thought Mom was getting feeble, because he was almost ninety, however when he moved in, it was more than that. Mom had advanced dementia & needed 24 hour care. The people I was with and I had an excellent nursing condo where all of us lived, & all of us could get him in there in several weeks. He was incontinent, & all of us were glad all of us had the air purification plan in the house. The people I was with and I also put a portable air purification plan in his room, and right before all of us moved him into the nursing home, he was asking what happened to all his cash. My sibling had sent him to our house with over $2000 in his purse. He was out of cash & blaming my spouse for stealing it. I walked into his room, hoping he had put the cash under the mattress. I saw the corner of a bill sticking out of the air vent cover. My Mom had been stuffing the cash into the air vent. It was winter, & the furnace was on. I started worrying about the cash catching fire. I called my spouse into the room & told him he had to disconnect the air vent cover. The people I was with and I found all of his cash was stuffed inside the air vent, & some of it was already dark from the heat of the furnace.
