When it is really hot out some people are really good at getting things done. Honestly I don’t know how they do it. When it’s really hot out where I’m from I would like to pass out. It just seems like too much to be out in that unbearable heat. The temperature around here easily climbs up into the 90s and I’m still expected to do things outside?! No thank you! I think I would much rather just stay inside and enjoy my wonderful cool air conditioning system. My cool AC system is really just a miracle in itself. I truly do not understand how people lived without air conditioning back in the past with how hot everything is here. I feel like I would have died from heat stroke back then. Perhaps I’m being dramatic, but it’s true. I have a neighbor of mine that’s a really hard working lady. I have a lot of respect for her for everything she does but I can’t understand how she does what she does. She’s 70 years old and she still goes outside and works out in the heat! She’s really passionate about guarding and she’ll spend hours out there just out in the sun watering her plants during the hottest times of the year to make sure they don’t die. She digs out all her own weeds, she has a big yard too so how she goes through all those weeds it’s still incredible to me. Despite her age she’s still going strong and I hope that she can continue to do so for a long time. It’s funny cause I’m only in my forties and I don’t feel like I could do what she does.
