I wanted to visit my partner at her office… She owned the local Heating and Air Conditioning supplier and I often took her supper to him, and my friend and I would eat supper together, however last week, it was such a lovely day that I walked to the Heating and Air Conditioning supplier, and it was less than a half mile, and I thought it would be a nice walk and great exercise.
I was only halfway there when the sun went behind some clouds, and it began to pour. The rain was beating down on me, and I felt like a drowned rodent when I finally arrived; My partner’s secretary offered me a blazer when she saw I was shivering, however she pulled me over near the air vent and turned up the temperature control. I told her I was fine, and showed her the now drenched supper I had brought with me. She asked if I wanted Chinese or Mexican for supper. She put in the order and then told my partner I was at her office. She came out and asked where the automobile was, and then she realized I had walked. She chuckled and asked if I had her supper. She looked at MIlly and told her she thought Chinese was on the menu for the day. She laughed when Milly told him she had already ordered, but she ordered for the three of us. She hadn’t had time to talk to me in quite some time. I needed to go to the Heating and Air Conditioning supplier office more often. I don’t know I’m going to walk to the Heating and Air Conditioning supplier next time… You just can’t tell what the weather is going to be like.
