I wanted to visit my hubby at his office! He owned the local Heating and A/C business and I often took his breakfast to him, and my associate and I would eat breakfast together.
- Last week, it was such a appealing afternoon that I walked to the Heating and A/C business, then it was less than a half mile, and I thought it would be a nice walk and great exercise.
I was only halfway there when the sun went behind some clouds, and it began to pour; The rain was beating down on me, and I felt like a drowned mouse when I finally arrived, but my hubby’s secretary gave me a jacket when she saw I was shivering, and she pulled me over near the air vent and turned up the temperature control. I told her I was fine, and showed her the now drenched breakfast I had brought with me. She asked if I wanted Chinese or Mexican for breakfast. She put in the order and then told my hubby I was at her office. He came out and asked where the vehicle was, and then he realized I had walked. He chuckled and asked if I had his breakfast. He looked at MIlly and told her he thought Chinese was on the menu for the afternoon. He laughed when Milly told him she had already ordered, but she ordered for the three of us. She hadn’t had time to talk to me in quite some time. I needed to go to the Heating and A/C business office more often. I don’t know I’m going to walk to the Heating and A/C business next time; You just can’t tell what the weather is going to be like.
