Whenever I get close to each subsequent filter change, my PC notifies myself and others ahead of time with an alert & message on the screen
Occasionally the most seemingly trivial mistakes can cause the most havoc. Everyone knows that they’re supposed to do basic automotive repair, however I was lax with my cars for years until the worst happened one afternoon. I had not checked the level on the radiator fluid, windshield wiper fluid, nor the engine oil. My vehicle started heating up suddenly as I made my way down the tied up highway street. When I pulled over the car, my engine was smoking & nearly caught on fire. The incident essentially totaled my car. The worst area was that I had neglected to refill the radiator fluid & the radiator prevents the engine from overheating. I nearly did the same sort of destruction to my central air conditioner in my house. Everyone told myself and others to replace my air conditioner filters at least once every three months. But I left a filter in for nearly a year & it was a wonder it didn’t fry the entire air conditioner. I called my Heating & Air Conditioning serviceman to inspect the method for destruction & somehow everything was superb after the incident. I decided to start making a calendar on my PC & laptop with all of my appointments charted out each month. Once I have a calendar, I can put the times for future air conditioner filter fluctuations on there. Whenever I get close to each subsequent filter change, my PC notifies myself and others ahead of time with an alert & message on the screen. I hope with these new fluctuations I will never forget to change my air conditioner filter in the right frame of time ever again.
