Is there ever a nice time to fork over much needed funds on an Heating and A/C repair? I think I know the answer.
It just seems enjoy with everything else that is happening this year, maybe I could get a pass on an Heating and A/C repair.
However, that is just wishful thinking. 3 or 4 afternoons ago, the Heating and A/C tech who does our seasonal Heating and A/C repair came to the front door. This is never a nice sign. Normally, the Heating and A/C guy lets myself and others know he’s here and then gives a honk when he leaves. When I heard the doorbell ring and saw his face, I knew that I had a problem. There was something wrong with some coil or compressor or something. Regardless, it was a situation that had to be addressed and soon. The worst area and why he was so sheepish was the cost. This Heating and A/C repair would run close to if not over a thoUSnd dollars. Thankfully, I kept our cool and thanked him for his time. I told him I would call the Heating and A/C office to confirm an appointment. As I closed the door, I felt a wave of nausea hit me. A thoUSnd dollar expenditure is so taxing on our finances this year. With pandemic upending how our spouse and I work, the people I was with and I have had to deal with less income. That’s exhausting enough without unforeseen Heating and A/C repairs. My spouse and I discussed it. All of us even talked about ordering the parts and having a handy neighbor of our do the job. That just made no sense though. Our Heating and A/C is essential to our life and deserves professional Heating and A/C repairs.
