I enjoy what I do.
This has been my dream job ever since I was a little girl. Some people take time to find suitable careers. But, not me. Thanks to my grandpa, I knew I wanted to be in real estate. So, I went to study sales and marketing at the university, and soon after got my real estate license. My first job after graduation was at a small real estate firm back home. I felt this was the best place to start and understand what the market is all about. And I was happy because the owner was happy to bring me on board. Since she was busy with other branches, we had a manager at the office to make sure everything was running smoothly. Unfortunately, he wasn’t that good at his job and let so many things go astray. One of the issues we faced at the office was the heating and cooling. The office was in desperate need of a new HVAC system, and the condition was affecting all of us. We rarely went to the office not unless there was an urgent matter. Either it was too cold at the office during winter, or too hot in summer. We tried to raise this issue of the faulty HVAC system with the manager. But, he would ignore or lie that an HVAC expert was coming by to take a look. Eventually, we got fed up and decided to go over his head and alert the business owner. She heard our pleas and in no time there was a new HVAC system at the office which made everyone quite happy.
