Fiona works as an administration officer at a company in the city.
All around them were tall buildings full of offices. But, their operation was small and better suited for the small space. Fiona had landed the admin job straight after finishing college. She saw an ad on a job board and sent in her application. Gladly, she had a bit of experience having worked several temp jobs part time while she was in school. Fiona was a secretary to the company manager. She wasn’t unhappy with the job. But her boss was not a nice person. At that time, Fiona was trying to blend in and get to know the rest of the staff. They are the ones who told her their manager wasn’t a good guy. He ignored the issues they had raised about the poor indoor air quality. It wasn’t long until Fiona also started to experience health difficulties and called in sick from work. Her boss was angry that she chose to stay at home, but Fiona is a Gen-Z. So, she let him know about the poor air quality. This guy had the audacity to say nothing was wrong when they all knew he had an air purifier in his office. So, she wrote to the head of the company about this matter and was ready to quit if they didn’t address it. Fiona got news that an HVAC professional had come by and did so much work to the HVAC system and ductwork at the office. That was awesome news, and since she wasn’t fired, Fiona went back to work as soon as she was feeling better.
