Industrial parks are now letting their spaces to smaller businesses.
Once upon a time, it would have been so hard to find such a space available to let. Usually, they only wanted immense companies who could sign long term leases. But, with the decreasing economy, there’s so much space available at an affordable rate. Plus, there are less rules about renting which is attracting small businesses, and when I wanted to start my Heating, Ventilation, and A/C store, I thought long and hard about the type of space to get. A small shop with a window display in the city isn’t bad. But, I also felt it would be better to have ample space to display different Heating, Ventilation, and A/C systems. So, I went in search of a warehouse available to let. I landed upon such a space, and to my surprise, there was a Heating, Ventilation, and A/C dealer in the area. I got to meet the owner of the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C dealer and the two of us became great friends. She informed myself and others they had space in the warehouse that they wanted to rent to a business. But, they had hoped to find a dealer in the same industry as them. I just happened to be setting up a Heating, Ventilation, and A/C store and this was like some kismet thing. We’ve been sharing office space with the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C dealer for a year now and things are great. Our companies complement each other and the two of us are steadily growing. I guess quite ecstatic that I never went with the proposal of setting up a small Heating, Ventilation, and A/C store in the city just for the window display. Being in a warehouse setting has made it easier to even conduct demonstrations for buyers who are searching for new Heating and Cooling systems.
