Yurts and ductless heat pump are perfect together

I have been in the hospitality industry since I was 16 years old. Growing up on a lake, I got to go to work at a local resort the Summer I turned 16. I don’t think I spent a minute of that Summer inside the air conditioning. That was forty years ago and I’ve been taking care of guests ever since. But things are different these days since I’m no longer running hotels and resorts. I spent decades all over the globe managing complex hospitality operations from the commercial HVAC of an office. Sadly, I’ve seen the focus slip away from really caring for people and making their stays as enjoyable as possible. Now, it’s all cost cutting and responding to only the negative stuff that is the focus of our industry. That’s a shame and that’s what got me to transition out of the commercial HVAC to what I’m doing now. It’s really the best of both worlds. I’m still doing my passion for a living but I’m doing it now from where I was raised and in a much different style. I inherited a bunch of untouched, forested property from my parents. This is just pristine nature at its finest. So I quit my corporate gig and said goodbye to my office with zone controlled HVAC. And my wife and I transformed some of that property into a yurt village. It’s the perfect way to experience this natural setting but camping in luxury. The yurts are on platforms with a ductless heat pump for quality heating and air. There are also hot tubs on all of those platforms as well. It’s just the perfect way to close out a wonderful career of taking care of my guests.
