I have made a major investment decision here today.
And that is the fact that this coming winter I am going to be buying radiant heated floors for my entire home.
My central heating and air conditioning system’s heater takes up so much energy each year that the bills that come with it make me almost go broke! However by making the large investment into radiant heated floors for my home I can end up saving so much money that the energy savings within itself can make it so that the radiant heated floors will actually pay for themselves over the course of the next 2 to 4 years. I think of it as taking a loan against myself and then the radiant heated floors will pay me back in small monthly installments over the next 2 to 4 years. Isn’t that a very amazingly cool concept? The radiant heated floors will be working for me to pay me back! This is what really sealed the deal in my head to decide to do this. It will be a win win all around for me by investing into radiant heated floors for my entire home and then getting rid of the central heating and air conditioning system’s heater all together and just have it become a standard regular central air conditioning unit. I wish I could do something similar for air conditioning, but they have not yet invented floors that can cool your home. Maybe someday HVAC technology will make this happen.
