I even bought myself a used label printer
When my mother originally started her steakhouse, she went to a steakhouse store for all her equipment. They had everything from plates, eating utensils, tables and chairs, and loads of napkin holders, to pots and pans, and pressing industrial stoves. I personally was looking in magazines to get pricing on all the machines and inventory she needed. I couldn’t think that would be almost a 6 digit number before she finally had her entire kitchen and dining section furnished. I was overwhelmed with all the high priced numbers. My mom took a single look at the numbers and shook her head. She told myself and others she wanted somewhere else to look for the intended equipment. The people I was with and I went to a discount store in the area that sold nothing however used equipment. The amount was quickly chopped down to where it cost almost 85% less than I had figured. When I wanted to start my t-shirt business, I immediately knew I couldn’t afford to buy new. I thought about the used machine store that dear old mom had used for her steakhouse. I couldn’t think I was to buy all of my necessary printing machines for less than half of what I had imagined. I finally had my printing machine to put the designs on the t-shirt. I even bought myself a used label printer. I wanted to be able to put a logo on the inside of the t-shirt. In the end, I couldn’t have been happier with the used machines than if I had bought all brand new, instead. If it hadn’t been for the shopping I did with my mom, I may have ended up leasing or paying an arm and a leg on brand current printers and label printers.
