I have a small glass blowing business. I started glass blowing when I was a teenager. I really enjoyed the art and I even attended several college courses to learn more about glass blowing and business. After four years in school, I decided to start my own business. I rented a warehouse capable of housing three large furnaces. I hired two friends from school to work with me in the business. Sally makes the most wonderful glass lamp bases. She does extraordinary work and she has wonderfully creative ideas. Charles is equally talented and he specializes in the bongs and bowls. We live in a state that has recreational marijuana laws. The glass bowls and bongs are one of our best selling items by far. Last week, I had to replace the boiler in our workshop. The boiler is responsible for creating hot water, heat and steam. I knew it was going to be expensive to buy a brand new boiler, and I didn’t have a lot of cash on hand. I called a few rental places to see if they had anything. I was going to rent a boiler for a few weeks, but the rental agency had three boilers for sale. They were old boilers, but they were certified to work as new. I talked to the salesperson on the phone and we discussed my needs and my budget. I settled on an industrial steam boiler with 400 hours on the clock. A commercial HVAC Company installed the machine the next day. So far, the boiler works great and I would never guess the machine isn’t brand new.
