Ever since I was a kid I have always wanted to be just like my father in nearly every way.
I know that this is something that many young children say about one of their parents, but in my case I was serious about it.
My father started his own HVAC company when he was in his twenties and thanks to hard work and smart business decisions he was able to turn a small time company into one of the most well respected and successful HVAC companies in the entire state. Seeing all of the success my father had while growing up and noticing how much people seemed to respect him I wanted to do the same thing one day. Instead of taking the college route like the majority of my friends did after finishing up with high school I started taking the courses necessary to become an HVAC tech while learning everything I can about the HVAC industry in general. While working in the HVAC industry hasn’t come as naturally to me as it might to others I didn’t let that hold me back. I have been able to push through the obstacles and become a certified HVAC repair tech. Now that I am in this position I am hoping to learn absolutely everything that I can from my father in order to follow in his footsteps as I start to age. My dad is amazing but he will not be able to run the business forever, and when he does decide to call it quits I will be ready to step in for him to keep the business running smoothly.
