Building a custom designed house has been one of those wishes for me throughout my adult life.
- But it was a wish that I wasn’t sure would ever actually materialize.
My wife bought a home when our kids were very small. And that would end up becoming the family home. It was an awesome place to raise a family and there were others that did the same before us. The HVAC was great in that house as was just about everything else so we never really even considered living anywhere else. That is until our kids grew up and started their own lives. Once we were empty nesters, it was clear that the house was just too much for the two of us. Not only was it tough to keep it up but paying that much for HVAC and other household bills just didn’t make much sense. Not for just the two of us to be living there. So, we thought that maybe we’d build that house we wanted for all those years. Once we upgraded the HVAC and the kitchen in the family house, it didn’t take long to sell it. Then we moved into an apartment and waited for our house to get finished. One of the best experiences of building that house was interacting with the HVAC contractor. This man was so knowledgeable and organized. But it was the listening to our HVAC needs and then implementing that input that really set him apart. We are now living in that house that we always wanted to design and build. It turned out great. And one of the very best aspects is the state of the art HVAC system.
