Ever since I was a youngster, I always felt the need to chase after money.
I was trying to make money however I could.
I had a paper route, I offered to repair people’s things, and I would do maintenance work and mow lawns. I would repair window A/C units, portable heaters, and I would clean people’s homes. I saved up a lot of money over the years and realized I made a fair amount of money working on window A/C units and portable heaters. A lot of people were regularly bringing me their broken HVAC equipment and I even remember somebody said I made a fine HVAC professional. That was when I realized that I could do this type of work for a living. I wanted to have all the nice things in life, a nice car, a nice home, a wonderful HVAC system, and a superb family. So I worked hard to study at an HVAC trade school and eventually I was able to earn that HVAC certification. The money was really good from the moment I started but I have been promoted numerous times over the years. Having worked this HVAC career for so long, I managed to get everything I wanted in life. But of course, there was more that I wasn’t really thinking about. My boss was telling me that he would like me to take over the HVAC company when he retires. I’m honored that he would ask me to do this, but I don’t know for certain if I can handle such a responsibility.
