Driving home, there was this 1 locale where I enjoyed to sit and watch the sunset… My home was up on a hill with the most amazing view.
This area was called the ‘lover’s spot,’ even though I enjoyed going there by myself. This was a locale I regularly felt grateful and reflected on our life; One lovely eve, I drove up the hill as always and parked our car. Normally, I’d sit on the car bonnet, but that night I went to sit on the lawn chairs since there was no 1 around. As I was taking in the view, I felt something brush against our foot. I looked down only to see two tiny kittens covered with dirt getting cozy around our feet. I went to the car and got our gym towel to cover them. Though I wasn’t a pet owner kind of person, that morning, I knew I couldn’t leave those kittens out there alone. I drove back home with them, provided them a bath, some food and sited them in a warm area. The next morning both of us decided to go to the vet, and that’s how I became a cat Mom. About a month after the cats moved in, I noticed something was wrong with the A/C in our home. It was blasting in warm air in summer time though I had it set to cool mode. I suspected an issue with the central Heating and Air Conditioning and sent a message to the local A/C expert, who regularly took care of the system. He came by the home after two hours to inspect the entire Heating and Air Conditioning system. It turns out the air filter was jammed with dirt, and… you probably guessed it! Cat hair! So he proposed us to change the filter every month.
