My favourite part of the year is my birthday month which is November.
It is not because of my birthday but because of black November and Black Friday offers.
If there is an offer in any store during that month I am always in the know. My husband joined in on the trend and we never miss a sale unless it is something we do not need at all. Most times we wait all year to buy any needed furniture or electronics on black Friday. This year was no different, we had sweatpants and running shoes ready. This year we were looking out for heating company offers specifically for a digital thermostat. We were also looking to replace our furnace but the heating industry rarely had crazy offers on the main heating equipment. The HVAC serviceman who did the last heating maintenance had suggested that we prepare to buy a new heating device. We were not sure what kind of offers they would be having but we kept our eyes open for anything that had to do with heating technology. A friend of mine who is an HVAC tech who works at a known heating dealer was telling me that a lot of customers normally take advantage of the sale and this leads to a rise in demand for heating and cooling systems. It was also a marketing strategy for new products in the market. She also gave me some inside information that they would be having an offer on the geo heat pump where the delivery would be free. When it came to home services, some home repair services such as duct sealing and ductwork servicing would be free. There was no better birthday gift than getting a much-needed item for free.
