As a city girl, I never thought I’d want to live anywhere rural or remote.
- That life always seemed boring and isolating.
That is until I married a country boy and went to stay with his mom for three months. After getting married, we stayed in the city until I got pregnant. My pregnancy was difficult, so I quit my job and went to stay with his mom. She wanted to help me out, and I felt so good living in her house. The countryside was something I had never experienced before, and I loved it so much. I asked my hubby if we could live in a similar area, and he agreed. We moved into a farm not too far from his mom, and I got chicken, goats, ducks, and geese. Everyone in my family was completely stunned by how well I was doing in that place. Our house was lovely, but we had to do something about the old heating and cooling system. We got it from the previous owner, and it worked well for a couple of months. But, the AC expert who came to service it advised us to get a new one. The cooling and heating unit we had was on its last leg. We had to look into our finances and informed her we would be in touch when ready to replace the system. Eventually, we did gather enough money and placed a call to her AC business for an appointment. But, she was quite busy, and it took her several hours to get to our house and plan the cooling and heating system replacement.
