My grandpa wasn’t happy living on his own! I could see this every time I went to visit him, but he tried his best to convince me he was okay, although I saw the sorrow in his eyes, after our nana passed away, not much else gave him joy apart from our visits.
He was getting old, so I started thinking of how to take better care of him.
I had always planned to buy a house at some point, although I knew it was the right time to do so. I would convince grandpa to come and live with me. At first, he gave me all sorts of excuses. Eventually, he agreed since he was lonely living alone, we put the farm on the market plus moved his things into our house, however there was a separate annex in the property, which became grandpa’s home! One afternoon, I was busy at work when I got a call from him. He’d felt cold, so he tried turning on the heating program in the house. But, there was no sizzling air blowing from the unit. The best thing to do was contact a heating program service supplier to send a specialist to the house. The specialist came by the next afternoon and determined a few faulty parts needed immediate repair. The heating program specialist fixed the component and advocated for me to start planning to get a new electric furnace. It was a better and more energy-efficient option that would lower our energy bills and not break down so much.
