The best thing to do was contact a gas furnace maintenance supplier to send a specialist to the house. The specialist came by the next day and determined a few faulty parts needed immediate repair. The gas furnace specialist fixed the machine and proposed that I start planning to get a new electric furnace. It was a better and more energy-efficient option that would lower my utility bills and not break down so much.
