When I first saw the advertisement for the a/c serviceman position online, I sent it to my child to apply.
I even helped him prepare for the interview.
It had been a year and a half since he was employed. The indoor comfort business he worked for had since closed down because of the effects of the global pandemic. It had been a difficult time for my child when he was out of work, although he always had a positive outlook on life. He gained a call back from the a/c supplier when we were having dinner. They asked him to come in the next day. We could not hold our excitement. I got his suit ready and could not wait to hear about his day. At dinner, our child narrated to me his adventurous and busy first day at work. A few hours after being taken around the supplier and introduced to the other a/c providers, the multi-split air conditioning broke down. His boss had taken advantage of this issue to see whether our child knew more about a/c. He put him on the task of carrying out comprehensive heating and A/C service and a/c repairs to the quality air conditioning. He assigned various a/c servicemen to help our child out, although he was the lead! My boss stood aside as he noticed our son’s work. My child told me that it all went well until he forgot to replace the damaged thermostat. His employer commended him on a perfectly done heating and A/C installation and for efficiently improving the air quality. Though my child was nervous, he trusted in his skills. That is where I knew my child would do good in the cooling industry.
