Doing the basics to keep Heating, Ventilation & A/C cool this Summer for less

It’s finally time that our husband & I come to terms with the fact that it’s just going to be tepid here in the summer.

And when I say hot, I mean rapidly increasing temperatures & humidity levels that are right near a hundred. That’s not just now & again. No, those levels of heat & humidity are on the daily for more than three weeks in a row. Both of us moved here for the mild winters & the great weather 8 weeks of the year. But staying cooped up inside the air conditioner all Summer is dumb. This venue just has too much going for it for myself and others to do that. So, we’re going to get with the program this summer. I’m going to do the basics to ease up on the air conditioner, get accustomed to the heat a bit more & save some money. The first thing I did was to get the heat pump it’s seasonal Heating, Ventilation & A/C repair. This ensures that the heat pump is up to the load of Summer cooling while also keeping it operating at peak efficiency. That’s money in the pocket to start. From there, I made sure to seal the beach house up tight. Changing the weather stripping around the doors & sealing up gaps on the exterior is another Heating, Ventilation & A/C efficiency maximizer. But really, it all comes down to keeping the thermostat at a reasonable level. I figured out how to program the thermostat & that’s going to help sizable time. The temperature in the beach house will not be more than 15 degrees cooler than the peak heating hours outside during the day.
