I was really worried about the indoor temperatures and the air conditioner this week.
The weather forecast said it was going to be hot every single day of the week.
On Tuesday, it was supposed to be 107 degrees. I was freaking out a little bit, because my AC unit doesn’t work very well when it’s hot like that. I was worried that the machine would break down and I would suffer all day in the heat. I put reflective solar tape on the windows and I put sheets and blankets in front of every single door and window. I left the lights off inside of the house all day. I didn’t go anywhere at all and I didn’t open up the door even one time throughout the day. Luckily, the temperature never reached 107 degrees that day. The temperature was 102 at the highest point of the day. My air conditioner never faltered at all. It ran continuously all day, but it absolutely cooled my home. The following day it was over 100 as well and I didn’t have any issues with the air conditioner on that day either. I had a service tune up performed on the air conditioner back in April and it seems like it was a very good idea. Last year my air conditioner did not run this well and I did not have a tune-up performed at the beginning of the year. I decided to have the work done this year, simply because I received a coupon in the mail. I couldn’t say no to the cheap service.
