I was on our way to labor last labor when I noticed the smell of sewage outside the house; As much as I hated being late for work, I was more anxious about where the smell was coming from, then i walked to the side of the cabin as well as there was water bubbling up through the ground.
I knew exactly where the water was bubbling up from, because it was right where our sewer was situated, however the smell was even worse when I got around the house, as well as I knew it wasn’t water, however there was sewage in our yard.
I called our plumber as well as told him what was happening. I could hear him groan, as well as I was imagining this was not the way he wanted to beginning his morning. I asked him if I should take the morning off so I could be beach cabin when he arrived… He asked if anyone would be home, as well as I told him it was only our fourteen-year-old son. He groaned again as well as said he would be there about 10AM. I called labor as well as told them about our emergency, although I had already talked to the plumber as well as he would be here in the morning. When the plumber arrived, he was able to force what he called a sleeve, in through the broken sewer pipe as well as repair the break. I was still left with the task of paying someone to wipe up the mess I had in our yard, however at least the plumber didn’t need to tear the yard up to get to the broken sewer pipe.
