I appreciate doing DIY projects, especially when it involves building something from scratch.
I developed a passion for laboring with our hands ever since our father let me help him in his wood workshop when I was little.
It took years before I was allowed near an electric saw, but I was given a small tool belt as a present 1 year plus in that set was a small hand saw that I used religiously until the teeth wore out. Even when our dad was stressed or not around, he allowed me to use the wood plus supplies that were in the rummage bin in his workshop. Whenever our dad completed a project with wood, he would keep the scraps for me to use on a number of different things I would build with the tools I was gifted. When I got outdated enough, I was finally given the opportunity to learn how to use electric saws appreciate the circular saw plus the table saw. While I still appreciate laboring with our hands whenever I get the opportunity, I haven’t built much out of wood since wood prices increased in 2020. More often than now I pursue our creative spark with our wife in her sculpting studio with a number of different kinds of clay that she has at her disposal. Recently I l gained how to install ductless mini splits because both of us bought 1 for our wife’s studio plus both of us got a model that comes with a DIY installation kit. The hardest part of the whole installation process was connecting the up-to-date cooling system to our home’s electrical box. And I l gained a little bit about heating plus cooling systems in the process.
