A long time ago, my very cool great uncle used to show me how he could sell weird heat and AC components for a nice amount of currency in his spare time.
He owned a junkyard which he said was a treasure trove. It all didn’t look like treasure to me at first, however eventually he pointed things out so that I could learn the worth of weird things. He mostly focused on automobile parts, especially engines. He enjoyed collecting heating and A/C parts the most though because that’s where he made a nice portion of his currency. He pointed out an old looking heating system with fascinating designs on it. He explained to me that they don’t make those gas furnaces like that anymore, and these types of systems could go for a superb deal of currency, especially when collectors are looking for these weird heating and A/C items. He taught me how to restore some of those old heating and A/C components and I became pretty well versed at that, along with restoring old vehicles. I also learned how to repair the heating and cooling systems on cars which was an unquestionably useful skill to have. Over the years, I mostly have worked as an auto mechanic, although I eventually decided to make my way into the heating and A/C industry. I was glad when I became certified and I still can’t believe how much I was able to learn in such a short stage of time. This afternoon though, I have had a fun time cruising weird junk yards so I can spot some expensive items that I can repair and sell. It’s basically an interest of mine, although I keep everything neat and orderly on my property. It doesn’t look like the junkyard that my cool uncle owns or anything.
