I find it puzzling how erratic the weather has been lately.
- Early in the fall, it was cool outside, but that only lasted for approximately three weeks before it warmed up once more.
Since then, the weather has been shifting as well. My friend and I experienced a few afternoons when it was below zero. Last week, the high varied between 55 and 60 on a few afternoons, but this week, my friend and I are experiencing highs in the mid-seventies. In actuality, the temperature in my car was 91 degrees, which is around 3 or 4 degrees higher than typical. Therefore, I used my heating and air conditioning systems for heating last week, and I’ve been using my air conditioner this week. I can’t recall a period when the weather was this unpredictable, despite the fact that our Winters are often mild. Even stranger, I discovered while relaxing in my yard that the little shrub that surrounds my heating and air conditioning unit has blossoms growing on it. Naturally, bees were swarming the plant outside. The shrub usually starts to bloom in late January to early May. And before the summer weeks, it is often when I cease using my central heating. I can already tell that the weather will stay this way for the remainder of the winter weeks because I am already using my air conditioner in January. This merely indicates that I will have to pay a higher energy bill this year. I need to discover a better solution to maintain comfort in my condo without using my heating and cooling system.
