About three weeks ago I had the worst afternoon of my entire life.
I was kneeling in my office at home trying to get some work done when my partner walked in.
she informed me that she was leaving me for the next door neighbor & that she wanted to keep the house. I was so distraught that I couldn’t even make words! She left hastily & I had to move out the next afternoon. Thankfully my friend and I didn’t have any teenagers yet because that would have made this so much strenuous than it already was. Going through a divorce is an costly thing when you factor in all the lawyers that have to help handle the case. Since I was having to pay for all the court fees, I was easily strapped for money. So of course, my HVAC system stopped working. It was the worst timing because it was the middle of the summer time & I didn’t have enough money to have the HVAC company to come out to my new home & fix my HVAC system. I was so distraught because I knew that I was going to have to call my parents & ask them for help. I know my parent felt awful for me because they said they would pay for me to fix the entire HVAC system. I have never been happier than when they told me they would cover the cost of the new HVAC system. I don’t know I could have asked for better parents!
