I am going away to school next week plus my parents are so distraught about me.
I know that they just want me to be safe but I am starting to get annoyed with them being so overprotective.
I have had issues with asthma my whole life plus they are convinced that if I don’t have my own dorm with my own personal Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C systeem that I will be sick the whole time I at university. I really wish they would just let me live a normal life, but they insist on interfering. I really do like the idea of having my own Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C system,but I would also like to live with someone for my first year away at university. I have tried to convince them that having a Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C system to myself isn’t going to solve all my issues, but they won’t listen to me at all. I just want to have a normal school experience. I am going to have a extreme talk with them next week plus let them know that I can’t deal with their behavior anymore plus that I don’t want to leave alone even if it does mean having to share the Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C system with someone else for a year. I know that I will be able to handle it, now I just need them to trust me. I really hope this conversation goes well next week… Fingers crossed that I will get what I want!
