When it comes to making travel arrangements I’m entirely not the best person for it. I tend to get honestly overwhelmed & there are too many unknown details for myself and others to begin to comprehend. That’s when I shut down & decide that it’s best to just stay at cabin instead of going through the entire ordeal. As such, our wife & I have a tag team strategy when it comes to developing our travel plans. I will handle all of the logistics for traveling, including renting cars & purchasing airline tickets, but meanwhile, our wife will figure out where we are going to stay for the duration of the trip; One of the things that she is honestly nice at is getting to the bottom of hotel amenities & room conditions. She is not opposed to calling the front desk & asking intimate details about their available rooms, down to the heating & cooling system. The two of us realized many years ago that an indoor air handling component would make or chop our hotel experience. The two of us stayed at too many low quality hotels that had no indoor air handling component to speak of. Several times, we wound up in rooms that had broken Heating, Ventilation, & A/C systems. Other times, there was no individual air temperature control unit whatsoever. Both of these instances ruined our trip as we were forced to combat hot, tepid & dank indoor air in our tiny hotel room. These afternoons, she constantly makes sure that we have a personal Heating, Ventilation, & A/C method in the suite before we ever submit our debit card information online.
