Moving from a well paying job to starting my consultancy seemed like a doomed move to many.

But, my dad was my biggest champion.

We talked about my goals and dreams one summer morning, and he challenged me to follow them. I knew no matter what, he’d have my back, so I started making plans. The space I found was a small office on the first floor of a building in town. It didn’t have any air conditioning, so I had to buy a mini-split AC. Dad had worked for an AC supplier for many years, which is how he knew the right ductless HVAC to get. He emphasized searching for the right size. An HVAC unit that was too small or too big would make life in the office unbearable for me. So, the first thing to do was measure the space and then begin looking at different mini-split ACs. The cooling unit had to be the best model to avoid breaking down quickly. Another thing my dad taught me was to read the reviews left by previous buyers. Any air conditioning supplier who wasn’t responding to customer complaints was a red flag. They’d end up frustrating me if the aircon unit ever broke down. Some evaded issuing a warranty to avoid meeting repair costs in case of any issue. That was useful information because I didn’t know much about ductless AC units. I needed one that would keep the air in the office at top quality and dehumidify the space during hot summer months. Another feature that was a deal-breaker was variable speed fans. I didn’t have a device with low and high speeds because that would limit the temperature settings during different seasons.

We decided to sell our house a couple of years ago when someone made us a crazy offer.

We had the nicest lot on the block and a corner lot across from the river. The real estate was mine before the place started to develop and it was a gold mine. A lot of people thought the place was spectacular, but I never expected someone to offer 30% more than the market value. When the person made the offer, my wife and I were forced to consider. The two of us decided it was time to explore the country. Our RV is very small so we don’t shower in the bathroom. We go to the showers at the local bathhouse. A few weeks ago, we were visiting a very cold weather climate. When my wife and I woke up in the morning, it was only 45 degrees outside. I didn’t want to walk to the bathhouse to take a shower, but we didn’t have a choice. I was extremely thankful for the radiant heater in the bathroom. There was a dial on the wall with a timer. I turned the dial all the way to 45 minutes which was the maximum. A large radiant heater started warming up the area near the showers. The entire room was very cozy and warm thanks to the heater.. I didn’t want to leave the building when we were done with our shower. Thankfully we had the heat running in the RV so it was very warm and comfortable when we returned after our shower.

My girlfriend and I went to the symphony orchestra to see a concert.

My girlfriend wore a nice dress and I wore a shirt and tie.

I was going to wear a sleeveless shirt, but my girlfriend said that the shirt with sleeves looked better. It was 85 degrees outside that day and I really wanted to wear short sleeves. Still, I wanted my girlfriend to be happy with the way I was dressed, so I wore the shirt with long sleeves. We arrived at the symphony about 30 minutes before the curtain and the indoor temperatures were extremely cold. My girlfriend and I were seated under an air conditioner air vent. The air conditioner ran the entire time that we were waiting for the symphony to begin. I thought the temperatures would be warmer after the music started, but it seemed like the air conditioner never stopped. I was extremely thankful that my girlfriend wanted me to wear the shirt with long sleeves, because I was freezing cold and my teeth were chattering. I honestly could not stop shivering. When the concert was over, the first thing I wanted to do was buy a hot cup of coffee. My girlfriend informed me that the symphony orchestra is always very cold and chilly. It was the main reason why she wanted me to wear a long-sleeve shirt. I wish she had told me about the temperatures ahead of time, so I could have worn a jacket as well. I would have been much warmer and I would have enjoyed the entire outing a lot more.

My wife and I live on a very large property.

The house has five bedrooms and nearly five thousand square feet.

We have a tennis court, indoor bowling alley, sauna, home gym and theater and an indoor and outdoor pool. The outdoor pool has an attached two bedroom house with a kitchen, dining room, and study. My wife and I had to call a repair service when we couldn’t figure out why the ductless HVAC unit in our pool house wasn’t working. It was a couple of years old, but neither one of us expected issues so soon. We were having some friends stay for the week and we wanted them to fully enjoy living in our spacious and comfortable guest house. When we realized the problem, we called the repair service that actually installed the mini-split ductless HVAC unit. The same person that installed the machine 3 years ago came to the house to perform the diagnostic check. He was very kind and helpful and explained all of the steps in the process. The interior air filter was extremely clogged, probably due to the recent spring cleaning that we performed in the pool house. We were thankful that the price of the repair wasn’t too much, and also thankful that the guy took his time to explain how we can prevent the problem from happening in the future. Our friends really enjoyed staying in the guest house. They had some privacy of their own, but we were still close enough to spend the day playing croquet, tennis, and bocce ball. We also enjoyed several afternoons of swimming when the weather was warm and sunny.

One of my co-workers had a cabin for sale and I talked my wife into the purchase. She was hesitant, but I really wanted to buy the two room cabin. It wasn’t a huge amount of money, and we spend nearly every weekend at the same lake. We have been tent camping for years and I thought the cabin would be a really nice upgrade and a piece of property to help us build equity. The first time we went to the cabin, we had a weekend filled with one problem after another. We didn’t have the right key for the door and we had to call a locksmith to have the right key made. After we entered the cabin, we realized that the place needed more work than we imagined. A lot of the flooring needed to be replaced and the porch had several areas where the wood was rotted. My wife and I drove by the cabin a couple of times, but we never entered the building. The place was so cheap that we weren’t very concerned with a couple of problems. The flooring issues were just the beginning. Most of the electrical outlets didn’t work, so we had to hire an electrician. One of the biggest issues ended up being the furnace. It was very cold on the first weekend that we visited and my wife and I tried to use the furnace. The machine would not put out warm air no matter how many different troubleshooting ideas we tried. We had to call a furnace repair service to fix the heating problem before we could spend another weekend at the cabin.

My best friend and I started a commercial heating and AC repair business.

• During the first year of business, I was with my girlfriend of five years.

The two of us were very happy until one day when she told me that it was over. I was so depressed that I couldn’t get out of bed. I couldn’t eat or sleep and I was depressed and suicidal. I felt like nothing in my life had meaning or purpose. My best friend Jack came over to talk to me. We work in the commercial heating and air conditioning repair business together. I was supposed to go to a commercial AC repair and I just slept instead. I was losing everything and Jack didn’t want to watch it happen. He got me out of bed and into the shower. After that, we went to an AA meeting and I scheduled a therapy session with the doctor. I didn’t realize how much of my emotional well-being was tied up in my girlfriend. When she left, I absolutely went crazy and didn’t think I would be able to go on. After 3 months of therapy, I’m feeling much better and the business is thriving. I’m very thankful that Jack didn’t give up on me or our friendship. He could have dissolved our partnership and asked for control of the business. Instead, he helped me get through one of the toughest times of my life. That guy is a really great friend and a good dude to have behind my back and in my corner.

There are a lot of things that can be aggravating and annoying when trying to train a new person.

I work in the heating and cooling business as an installation and repair technician. They’re often times during the day when I have to give a customer an explanation. I am a very good teacher and it is one of the reasons why my boss has me training all of the new guys. I spend two days evaluating their skills while taking notes. During this time, I often answer a lot of questions from the trainee. I’m used to spending a lot of time talking on the days when I have a trainee. Still, nothing prepared me for the guy I had to spend the day with on Friday. He didn’t shut up the entire time we were in the truck. Every time we got in the cab and put on our seat belt, the guy wanted to talk about something personal. I would have been perfectly fine if we would have talked about HVAC repairs during our ride, but the guy wanted to talk about anything and everything except heating and cooling topics. I found out some very interesting information about that guy and his family and I could probably tell you all the names of his siblings, nieces, and nephews. The guy spent more time talking than anyone I have ever met in my life. He has some amazing repair skills and he is super smart and observant, but he talks and talks and never shuts up. It was hard not to let it get on my nerves.

I was really looking forward to spending the weekend at the lake.

I bought a brand new fishing pole and a new box of lures that I wanted to try.

I rented a boat for Saturday afternoon so I could go out to the best places on the lake. I was ready for complete and total rest and relaxation. Unfortunately, my plans had to be scrapped when I came home from work and the air conditioner wasn’t blowing cold air. I was supposed to pack my bags and get in the truck to go to the lake. Instead, I had to call a heating and air conditioning service company and schedule a service appointment. Jack wanted me to wait until Sunday afternoon to make the call, but I didn’t want to deal with the air conditioner problem the day before I have to go back to work. I called my friends and told them that I would be unable to join them for the weekend. The air conditioner service had an emergency appointment available for that evening so I decided to take the time slot. I had to pay an extra $50 for the emergency after-hours appointment, but they were finished with the repair by 10 pm. I decided to surprise my friends and I drove to the lake after the air conditioner was repaired. My friends were very surprised and happy to see me and even happier that I brought a 12-pack of beer. The next day, I caught a three foot trout that looked like a prize fish. I threw him back, but not before I took a dozen pictures with the beauty.

I retired from working as an engineer about 10 years ago. I planned to work until I was 75, but I got tired at 60 and decided to retire early. Most days I sit around the house or go fishing. some that time. I’m remodeling the garage and I am also building a replica Apache helicopter in my spare time. I have plenty of things to keep me busy, but I like to fix things as soon as they break. There was an issue with the ductless heater in the garage and I nailed down the problem to a single replacement part. I ordered the furnace replacement part from an online retailer that guaranteed shipping within 3 days. I patiently waited for my order to arrive. On the fourth day, I still have not received the replacement parts for the ductless heater. I called the manufacturer and spoke to someone in the customer service department. She told me that the order was accidentally canceled on their end. She apologized for the delay and the confusion and sent the part overnight express. It arrived the next day before 2 pm. I was very happy with the customer service, but the lady sent the wrong part. I looked at the order form online and I had the right item listed. The new order invoice had an entirely different product number. I called the customer service line again, but this time I got someone different. The customer service guy agreed to send another replacement part, but he did not offer to send it with express mail. By the time I actually had the replacement part in hand to fix the ductless heater, I had waited nearly two weeks.

Air conditioner service

I was driving on the interstate a couple of days ago, when someone cut me off right before the bridge. I was going the speed limit, and a work truck came out of nowhere to jump right in front of me in the line to get off the highway. I slammed on my brakes and my coffee went flying. I was only a foot away from the truck when I came to a stop. I recognized the truck immediately from the logo on the back. The driver of the truck worked for a local heating and air conditioning repair service. The heating and air conditioner repair service is well known throughout the valley. I’ve seen their commercials on television. I contacted the company immediately to complain about the poor driver. Unfortunately, I think it was the driver of the vehicle that answered the telephone call. When I made the complaint, he didn’t seem to take it very seriously. He laughed a little and hung up the phone. When I drove past the truck after hanging up the phone, the driver of the vehicle flashed the middle finger at me. I finished driving to work and told all of my co-workers about the experience. They urged me to call the corporate office to make a further complaint. It seemed like a lot of work, but the guy was driving poorly and acting with road rage. I had to call three different people before I found someone interested in solving my problem. I won’t be using that repair service for my HVAC needs.
