Last winter life was quite eventful.
Our sister had come back from the army, plus my Dad was over the moon.
We weren’t ready and so we had to get her room ready in a hurry, and plans were underway to invite lots of people over to the cabin to celebrate her return. Our relatives plus a bunch of her friends were going to come so we had to make repairs. One issue that my Dad was facing were cold spots in the house! Dad called a Heating and Air Conditioning mechanic to check it out the week before. Then, there was no problem with the A/C in the house. But there was a problem with cold spots. It was becoming quite frustrating, but my sister told Dad to call the Heating plus Air Conditioning mechanic to come back and look at the issue again. My sister was there to help her get the message across to the A/C expert. The A/C expert then told me that there had to be a reason that the air was escaping; Doing a thorough inspection of the cabin would really help narrow down the issues. The A/C expert began conducting the inspection and he found some horrifying finds. Part of the A/C vent was torn up, which was causing air leaks. This was why certain spots in the cabin were not getting ample heating from the furnace. Another issue was the state of the windows in the house. The windows had gaps in them which were also responsible for air leaks. Even cranking up the A/C system was not working. The air still escaped from the house. Another issue was the dirt in the air vents. He had to schedule a dull duct cleaning as soon as possible. Dad was excited with the results.
