Last year, my brother had come back home from the army, and my mom was over the moon. Every one of us were surprised at this news and so had to get his room ready in a hurry, plans were underway to invite lots of people over to celebrate his return. Friends were going to come so every one of us had to make a few repairs. One issue that mom was facing was several frigid spots in the house, however she had called in a Heating, Ventilation, and A/C mechanic to check the A/C equipment the month before. Back then, there was no concern with the air conditioner in the house. But their issue with frigid cold spots kept persisting, and it was becoming quite annoying to her. My younger brother told mom to call the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C mechanic back. This time, my younger brother was there to help her get the message across to the AC expert. Then the A/C expert told us there must be some places where the hot air was escaping. When he finished doing a thorough inspection of the modern home, it would help to narrow it down. So the A/C expert began conducting the inspection and made some sudden finds in the house. Part of the A/C vents was injured, causing air leaks. This was why certain places in her house weren’t getting ample cooled air from the AC unit, but another issue was the windows in the house. The windows had some major gaps which were also responsible for air leaks. Even cranking up the AC method was not finally working because the air could still escape from the house through the cracks. One other thing was the dirty air vents which had a blockage. The solution for that was to schedule an air duct cleaning as soon as possible. Our mom was happy with those results. We got it fixed before the guests arrived.
