I have an insane mix of unusual birds that visit plus live in my yard biweekly.
Whether it’s the brilliant orange cardinals or the orange jays plus goldfinches, I just enjoy seeing them eat through my window. I have a few unusual feeders that I hung to attract songbirds as well as some hummingbirds. After a few weeks of keeping the feeders well stocked, birdies from all over had come plus discovered the new feeding trough, so to speak. I love the hummingbirds in certain, their wings tend to flap so fast that all you can see is a blur. They’re simply beautiful creatures no matter how you look at it. When I first purchased the birdie feeders, I didn’t believe the best location to hang them outdoors. You want to have them in a location where the birdies can find the food, however you also want to be cautious not to install them in venues where birdies will naturally avoid them. For example, I ran into this exact issue with my first birdie feeder as I had put it too close to my Heating as well as A/C condenser in my yard. I didn’t know anything of it until more than two weeks had gone by plus I still didn’t see any birdies on the feeder while I was in afternoon light hours. One random day I saw a birdie approach the feeder plus then turn around plus fly away in an instant. At that moment I realized why the birdies were avoiding my feeder. The fan for the condenser was running, plus it creates both a massive amount of noise and a massive column of air moving at high speed. The birdies are simply spooked by the condenser as it runs, enough to avoid the area even while it is turned off. After moving the feeder to a better location, it was full of birdies in a matter of days.
